Participating races, each with their own entry forms, fees, lengths, rules, and more, include:
Muddy Sneakers Run 20K in Naples in April. As the name implies, plan to get your sneakers muddy!
Allegany Adventure Run Run 22K through the hills of Allegany State Park in Salamanca in May.
Woods Walk & Trail Run Our 10M run features LOTS of elevation changes through the hills outside Portville in June.
'Dam' Good Trail Run A 14M run through Letchworth State Park in August.
Ultra Trail Run Ultra challenging, ultra fun, Ultra Trail Run! 12M through Ellicottville ski country in August.
8 in the Rough Run 8.7 miles through Sprague Brook Park, Glenwood, NY, in September.
Out of Bounds A CRAZY half marathon run through the Bristol Mountain Ski Resort in Canandaigua in October.
Ridgewalk & Trail Run A beautiful autumn 15 mile run with LOTS of hills outside Wellsville in October.
Earning Points in the Eastern Grip Trail Running Series
Earn points for every race you run! Accumulate points throughout the season for prizes at the end!
- 10 points for each event registered and finished (points may be awarded if race begun but not finished due to injury)
- 30 points for the top male and female overall finishers per event (without regard to age)
- 20 points for the 1st place male and female finishers by age category
- 15 points for the 2nd place male and female finishers by age category
- 10 points for the 3rd place male and female finishers by age category
- 5 points for the 4th place male and female finishers by age category
- 2 points for the 5th place male and female finishers by age category
Participate in two or more races to earn points. Cumulative points will be tallied after each race. Final totals for the series will be tallied at Ridgewalk, and series prizes will be awarded at Ridgewalk's Finish Line Arena.
Prizes will be awarded to the top overall male & female finishers, and to the top male & female finishers in each age category.
